This family business was started by Fred Bridgeman in 1966, as a small window cleaning company in the West End of London. In 1999 the company was taken over by his sons, James, Christopher and their lifelong friend Rene all with a lifetime of experience in the window cleaning industry and more recently joined by their brother-in-law Jamie, together they make up the heart of Gaze-A-Glaze Limited.
Health & Safety is an absolute priority at Gaze-A-Glaze, we believe this is the reason we are fast becoming one of the South East's leading companies in the industrial, commercial and residential window cleaning industry. We have achieved this by correctly training our staff and embracing new technologies and techniques allowing us to offer safer more environmentally aware service at a fair price.
We conduct site specific risk assessments and provide our customers with a method statement from our expert team. To ensure a punctual service and so that our customers know we are meeting our legal obligations, service orders are requested from our commercial and industrial clients so that the agreement retains flexibility but also has the protection of our terms and conditions.
Gaze A Glaze is a member of the Federation of Window Cleaners. We use Peninsular Business Services to keep us abreast of all current changes to the law that might affect our responsibilities or liabilities with regard to Health & Safety and employment law. We are also vetted annually by Safe Contractor (private sector industry standard) and Chas (industry standard in the public sector). We hold current accredited certificates from both organisations. We strive to achieve quality in all our work activities and for quality control procedures we are independently assessed by The British Assessment Bureau in Association with UKAS resulting in Gaze A Glaze Limited achieving ISO 9001 accreditation.
